"Kitten season" is the spring and summer months when the number of litters of kittens explode and shelters across the country are overwhelmed with new cats and kittens. For the public it means loads of adorable baby kitties are made available for adoption at your local shelters! For the shelters it means increasingly having to choose which cats will live and which cats will not because of the lack of cage space.

DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER CATS DIE!

Both of my cats are shelter cats; some of the best personalities and most beautiful domestic short hairs I have ever owned <3 my cats may not be Persians or Siamese, but they are the loveliest companions I could have ever wished for ^^
