  • boy them things look underpowered, hard to tell from vid but those subs should be flexin like crazy, but i bet they sound good in person

  • weak

  • i got a rockford fosgate 350 amp... should that be enough to power to 12 JL audios.

  • Thrift shop system

  • like bigbot88201 said i got a dodge ram with a sony xplod head unit with a 600 watt sony xplod amp and i put my one mimphis 10 in it and slammed but then i put the mimphis in my s10 with a clarion head unit and the same amp and it did not push it hard at all soo

  • what kind of amp did you use? how many watts?

  • @TechSixNine actually your head unit can make a HUGE difference...not so much on the subs but like for your door speakers and stuff like that....like take a sony xplod deck and see how it sounds....then take like an alpine and see how it sounds....the alpine sounds 10 times clearer and stronger...but however...the deck could make a difference on the subs because depending on the deck...it might send out a stonger signal to the amp.

  • @TechSixNine lol atually ur SUPER WRONG the quality of bass and bass output varies from head unit to head unit and the head unit has to connect to the amp then the subs how do u think it gets the information of the song to play? a stock head unit will not put out as much power or quality to an amp/sub unless ur stocks great. so dont comment when u think the song magically comes from your ipod to ur sub without touchin the head unit.

  • i thought the same thing bud i had your headunit then got a pioneer it sound way better

  • @midnight843 where does a head unit get connected to a Amp/Sub at any point? lol.

A new head unit will not affect your subs
