so if honey is 80% sugar and 20% water, does that mean you could create it's chemical equivalent with just sugar and water in your kitchen? or is there some chemical reaction that only happens in bee hives that would prevent one from achieving this?

An egg is not "manufactured", as in turned into something else entirely distinct from its raw materials, the way honey is.

@Seinneam i think it means that it's the only food that's MADE by animals. most foods come FROM animals, but honey is the only one that's "manufactured."
