Despite his recent rise to fame, Sidney is certainly no newcomer to the scene. His DJ career began at the young age of 14 after seeing a few DMC mix championships, and from that point onwards his path was set. Originally playing RnB and Hip Hop jams, he soon switched his style to house music in 1999 and quickly became resident DJ at club night Exxellent which was held at one of Hollands biggest clubs - The Matrixx.

Sidney first started turning heads with his hit Its all funked up! signed to Spinnin Records in 2003. Over the next few years he developed his skill for production putting out a string of club hits. In 2007 he decided to start a new record label named Samsobeats following the success of a few collaborations with Gregor Salto. Theyve since been releasing new tracks from the hottest new DJs and producers around. Sidneys sound has developed in line with the Dutch movement, which has been taking place over the past few years. Involved with fellow Dutch superstar Chuckie the Dirty Dutch collective have already taken over Holland and there is no doubt that 2010 is the year when this sound truly goes global.

If Riverside is without doubt the track which has significantly put Sidney Samson on the map and his name on the lips of all dance fanatics, then Shut Up & Let It Go is the follow up that will confirm Sidney as one of the bright new stars of the International dance scene for 2010, much the same way as fellow Dutchman Fedde Le Grands breakthrough in 2006 with his hit Put Your Hands Up For Detroit.

Shut Up and Let it Go aptly follows its predecessor, sampling the Dutch basslines, which are set to be huge for 2010 this is certainly a club smash in the making. With Lady Bee reigning in the vocals and Sidney providing what he does best you cant help but yet again be mesmerized by the hook.

The release comes as a package with no less than 6 remixes from an array of genres. Vinyl Groovers mix is undeniably hard house at its best, whereas Bar 9, who have been getting love left right and centre from Radio 1 for their recent remix of the Paul Harris vs Eurythmics I want you, provide the dub heavy tones. Newcomer Hugo Van Dyck brings his disco infused vibes to the track and Cr2s new signing Jacob Plant, whose previous remixes include Chuckie & LMFAO Let the bass kick in Miami girl and has recently had involvement on an exclusive track with Chase & Status, puts an electro rave stamp on this already massive record.
