Representing the Muslim perspective was Brother Paul A Williams: Brother Paul is a former Christian who converted to Islam 3 years ago.

He has studied both theology and philosophy at Birkbeck and Heythrop college at the University of London.

Paul research includes (but is not limited to) biblical studies, particularly the development of Christology, the historical Jesus and New Testament studies. He is also competent in biblical Greek.

He is a member of the Muslim Dawah Initiative its formed of members from the Muslim community with experience in public speaking, apologetics, polemics, research and community work.

Paul has been engaged a number of interfaith dialogues with various denominations of Christians. He is an accomplished speaker in Muslim-Christian discourse and gives a number of lectures in Regents Park Mosque on the subject.

Representing the Christian side was Nabeel Qureshi, Nabeel is a former Ahmadi (Qadyani) Christian Apologist.

He is currently pursuing an MD at Eastern Virginia Medical School and has just finished the coursework for his MA in Christian Apologetics at Biola University in CA.

He runs the website www.Acts17.net

Paul mopped the floor using nabeel. He quoted Angelika Neuwirth and it dismantled nabeel's argument regarding the Quran and nabeel did not realise it. The only thing Paul did not respond to was on nabeel's speculation and dirty thoughts of Prophet Muhammad (saw) with Safiyya (ra)

Nabeel couldn't even answer Paul's questions.

You know nabeel lost as he went ballistics.

he believes in islam coz its SIMPLE and isnt as difficult as christianity and does not contain hard stuff to believe. he finds it easier to believe in it. so then how do you deal with the 1000s of years of Judaic religion that Islam does not resemble at all. islam claim to have come from Christianity and Judaism but it is no true at all. how do you deal with the concept that God is a liar and deceiver if islam is true? thats a completely different religion thats got nothing to do with YHWH

@NeoChalcedonian Basically, Nabeel's Arguments were, I endorsed Christianity because Islam is bad. He debated many times about why he left Islam, but he never give any argument for why he converted to Christianity.

The problem is that Nabeel, as a former Ahmadi, he didn't believe in those "bad" things about Islam. They believe in a "reformer" by the name of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, and they follow his pacifist teachings. So the Argument of Nabeel cannot be his reason for leaving his religion.

We walk by faith and not by sight! I walk by faith and by what Jesus has done for me and I have seen his power and the miracles that he has done for people around me. The Quran and Jesus aren't the same research it yourself. They don't teach the same thing.

Having read many of the comments from the muslims to this video, I feel sorry. You claim to put logical thinking high, but you are not following that standard yourselves. What lack of argument is it when the only thing you might say is that Nabeel was not a muslim! I recently started watching these debate videos, and I am very surprised that muslims often seem to be more interested in proving that Christians are wrong, than telling why islam is the right religion. Is islam lacking contents?
