  • @madehero2007 Why do YOU meat eaters seem to think that you can speak for God? And yes, killing plants for pleasure is bad, just like killing animals. Do I kill plants for pleasure? No, I don't.

  • @yellowdotz Are heart attack, diabetes, cancer and osteoporosis the signs of God's happiness? And how does breeding cows and feeding them the food nurture human lives?

  • @Bobert665 They say being vegan increases your IQ :) Don't forget that meat is a drug. There are things in meat that keeps you eating it. So it's like telling a drug addict to just give up his addiction. But we can start somewhere...start small. And eventually the seed inside you will grow and blossom into something loving, compassionate and beautiful. Every great oak tree grew from a tiny seed :)

  • @Bobert665 it will not let you rest :) People feel guilty for eating meat once they know what is going on behind closed doors. And usually it's only a matter of time before they give it up completely. Most people literally don't know what is happening to these innocent creatures..the violence and the torture. No human would want to inflict that kind of pain on anything.

  • @Bobert665 You are so right. Meatless mondays is a good start. And in fact through eating less meat people already start to feel the difference and then it becomes a natural process. You said that you don't feel bad for eating meat because that is how you were raised, and that is true of so many people. But knowing the horrors they face and being made aware brings you into a space where you make an informed choice everyday to eat it. But the funny thing is that once the conscience is awake...

  • @SupremeMasterTV never thought of that. (sorry if my last post wasn't as detailed as it should be, but ever since leaving the I.B. school i used to go to, my debating skills have gone down. (i miss my humanities class...)

You are, in my opinion (as far as i can tell), a high intellectual. You won't get everyone giving up eating meat, but your message is clear in my mind. We need to slow down and let the planet rebalance itself. (i hate the character limit on youtube)

  • @SupremeMasterTV You actually do provide a compelling arguement (something which can be hard to come by nowadays). While i personally don't feel bad for eating meat, that is because it is how i was raised. We, as a race, have done horrors to the planet. With meat, it take about 2500 gallons of water to get a single pound of eatible beef. While you won't get people to give up eating meat, if you can even convince people to do something like meatless mondays, it can impact more than expected.

  • @Bobert665 But if you cut the leg off a cow it won't grow back. It's consciousness is different to that of a plant.

  • @Bobert665 Exactly. We shouldn't kill anything. Cockroaches, beetles, spiders any and all insects have the right to life like we do. Unfortunately because we have become so gross it is hard to then tell people that we shouldn't eat plants either..because that is a consciousness shift that some don't understand or are not ready for. The difference though is that if the apple drops to the floor once eaten you can plant the seeds so that it will grow again.Or if you remove a leaf it will grow more.

  • @SupremeMasterTV you realise that not everyone is religiouse right? And you said that plants don't run away, they cant run away... I bet if they could, they would try to as well. Its the circle of life, survival of the fittest is the basic law of the world. If God did create everything, then he/she/it obviously set us to be the dominate species of the planet. Then he/she/it gave us free will. If God truly loves all of its creation, and its wrong to kill it, don't kill weeds, roaches, spiders, etc
