why the fuck would he say something like that? its the job of the political leaders to try and create confidence in the market. does he really think everyone is so stupid that they dont know the economy isn't doing well? its the equivalent of churchill going on national tv during the battle of britain and saying "well the germans have all of europe so we're pretty much fucked."
