  • finally a movie about North Korea......, i've seen many movies about Japan, China, Vietnam. What about Korea? yes thank God for this movie, i'm sure it will be very captivating and inspirational.

  • Kim Jong Ill isn´t even president to start with. The 'Eternal' president is his father, Kim Il Sung, who allegedly rules NK from heaven (hell, more likely).

  • @1545nao Maybe they use Japanese names because Japanese look down upon Koreans and they're forced to use a Japanese name (Not forced, but if they dont they do get the eye). No one race commits a crime more than another, dont stereotype

  • brain washing

  • the saddest movie ive ever watched........... clog nose

  • This is the most sadest movie ive ever seen. The ending just made tears fall from my eyes no lying.

  • Ooooh, I don't know if I'll be able to make it through this movie :/

  • Koreans also have been comitting lots of crimes, murders, rape viloations, plunders , and so on, in Japan, for about 100 yeares. Even now , they are comitting almost all kinds of premeditated crimes , and when they comitt a crime, they often assume a Japanese, or use Japanese name.

  • an amazing movie that everyone must watch

this crisis is being ignored by the rest of society and people need to know about this

  • I saw this at the Asian Film festival, San Diego last night. I've noticed a pattern, it seems, with Asian Films. They start slow and build to a climactic end. This one is a well made, high quality movie with nothing positive to tell about the plight of a young family living in North Korea in these modern(?) times. Pretty much of a wipe your eyes with a depressing ending type of movie. No upside except I'm glad I saw it and recommend it to all. And it wasn't political, it just was as is.

  • He doesn't have any, he gave them up for the revolution

  • ahahahahaha
