Mario Kart 7 - Blue Shell dodge (with a Mushroom)

A short tutorial on how to dodge a blue shell in Mario Kart 7. The timing is a bit more difficult than in Mario Kart Wii. You need to use the mushroom almost as late as possible.

A Blue Shell is also dodgeable with a Star or a Bullet Bill if you have either of them in 1st place.

@progamer2413 also bombs must be used with a strategy, and the red shells don't really bother me since I get lots of bananas and green/red shells to stop them.

@eddylugia Everything's cheap except bananas and green shells that actually require thinking and aim. They don't just inevitably home into you like a fucking missile.

You can join or create communities with custom settings in Mario Kart 7. this includes turning items off.

There should be a online mode with NO ITEMS AT ALL. I wont be buying this game just because they still havent put in the option to remove them. The average skilled players always win because there always getting all the good items while there right on your ass and your just trying to stay ahead with a fucking banana

The blue shell is WAY easier to avoid in MK64! All you do is stick out an item!
