The Help is Here Express bus tour made stops in Illinois the week of April 6th-10th. Visiting cities throughout the state, the bus celebrated its fourth anniversary - four years of helping more than 5.7 million uninsured and financially struggling Americans get access to the medicines they need for free or nearly free. Jerry Mathers traveled with the bus for two days in Illinois, helping raise awareness of how the PPA can help eligible Americans.
The PPA, a nationwide effort sponsored by America's pharmaceutical research companies, provides a single point of access to more than 475 patient assistance programs. The PPA has already helped 456,000 Illinoisans find out if they qualify for free or discounted medicines- now let us help you! To learn more and get started visit http://pparx.org.
