Carnivorous plants with video focus on the venus flytrap.
Science: The text on the opening frames contains brief descriptions of these exotic plants.
The project: Panich Kasamepaiboon, GCSE student at Bellerbys College Oxford went to the Oxford Botanical Gardens with me, his Biology teacher. There, we shot some stills and 2 short video clips.
Processing: Magix MusicMaker 2004 Deluxe and Windows Movie Maker.
Music: Amateur music written and played out on one of those electronic keyboards with fake percussion sounds...Done by me and friend Mior in 1989, recorded onto cassette then, converted this august 2008 into digital using Steinberg Clean4 and Wavelab Lite.

  • mattbob, i'll take that as a compliment. I made up, played and recorded that creepy music around 1989. This is about the second time I've used it publicly. Plyed on one of those Yamaha electronic keyboards.

    Thks too, from 1-2 yrs ago, theamazingplant, GameRes2 and ensdu42. Glad you like it. The student and I enjoyed putting the videoshoot together.

  • the nepenthes you showed is from asia. its exotic. but all the other plants like vft, are from AMERICA. they are not exotic. the vft is from carolina
