M-Audio Mark Isham

He's frustrating though...I've got many of his solo/NON MOVIE projects and love them all. I don't think he's done anything solo in, what, 15 years? Very frustrating. I feel the same way about Trevor Rabin...he left his fan base and solo career for the convenience of soundtracking....great soundtracks no less, but PLEASE give us some new music!!

Couldn't agree more, gotta keep the balance! Guys like Isham, Rabin have a fanbase outside of making movies, same with Danny Elfman.

Mark Isham is great composer! Love his music from Romeo Is Bleeding and others!!

The Hitcher is his best.

wow, i've got all Isham's music, practically worship him (anyone who creates 'in the blue distance' and 'my wife with champagne shoulders' is deity) -- and I'd always imagined he looked JUST LIKE THIS... (gooood-lookin') and now it's confirmed. amazing how the face matches the soul. Loved the interview. thanks for posting.

the recordings are ambient and far reaching.

OK bearandhammer, now tomorrow i'm going to HAVE to listen to all 4 of those CDs back to back. you renewed my memories of them. cool, another isham fan. I bought 2 dozen of his 'movie soundtracks' at a pawn shop! WHAT A FIND OMG OMG OMG!!!!! can you &$#@ believe? LOL
