    "PC System Requirements

    OS:Windows XP or later

Processor:Dual-core processor (Intel Dual Core 2.0 GHz or AMD Athlon X2 5200+ 2.6 GHz)

    Memory:1 GB RAM"

Why the specs too high for game with simple 8-16 bit graphics? It doesn't make any sense. I thought single core processor and 512MB of ram would be enough to handle these type of games.

It does run on lower specced PCs. We just weren't capable of testing it on lower specced systems so this is a safe setup that we are sure you'll be able to enjoy the game on.

Also note that while it is a retro title, it wasn't optimized to run on retro systems.

For me personally, this is the best Breakout clone I've played; even better than the 3D remake for the PlayStation.

You should actually try playing it, it's great. Graphics don't really matter in a brick breaker anyway.

Translation, you guys used a relatively modern engine for something you could've done with 2001 technology. My question is... Why?

I highly doubt that it NEEDS a dual core processor, and once again, this is just buffer room, led by the assumption that most people have the standard dual cores nowadays.

My computer is really powerful, but the specs doesn't sound right to me. Why it need dual core processor for game with simple graphics?

Yes, because only hipsters play indie games. Pay no attention to the Minecraft behind the curtains.

Generally speaking, none of those specs are very difficult to get. It sounds to me more like it's supposed to be a safe buffer room of what can run it. XP has been out for some time, after all, and most computer's I encounter (as a gamer, admittedly) run with 4-8 gigs of RAM.
