@Kubus77 Sorry, but verifiably there are quite a few errors and omissions. "Spoiling for a fight", for example, doesn't exist in English (but: "to kick up a fuss"). "Master prince" doesn't exist either. It's supposed to read "chieftain" or "warlord" ... etc. etc. etc. A faulty word-by-word translation like this spoils the tenor of Schramm's bite and irony (incredibly rough). And: there's no mention of Hitler. But we have to thank the translator for the upload and effort!

Great translation! I'm german ;)

@groppermilk moreover the sync sucks (subs partially more than 5s ahead of vid) ... if punchlines, audience-responses etc. fail to match the related text-passages (and vice versa), watching the video becomes redundant. one could read it in text format instead of... (since ironic subtexts aren't conveyed appropriately anyway, ... )

@groppermilk so what ? i am no native speaker . so sometmes mistakes happen . don`t be that harsh . by the way : what is wrong with the translation ?
this comedian is such exelent - i can´t even laugh about some of his jokes because i think "damn he is right and nobody knows" . but i love seeing him on television .
by the way - very good translation

I'd just watched Georg Schramm as a Lt. Oberst or something talking about the Bundeswehr and my first impression was: wtf? but after a few minutes I recognized that he was joking and all this grap about some strange tatcics of Hitler were faked.
Hes really a great actor.
