Here we are at Mount Vernon East, where we see Metro North Train 1392, the local to Stamford, as it arrives at and departs from the station. 1392 has 8 M2's. However, the surprise here is PMMO, the night time work crew out of Mott Haven. PMMO is hauling the Metro North OCS train to New Rochelle, where they will be interchanged with Amtrak to be brought down to New Jersey, where they will be used on the West Of Hudson OCS trip. PMMO is left to the charges of GP35R 103. The coaches are two Erie Lackawanna ex Phoebe Snow observation cars with an ex New York Central grill car in the middle. Enjoy this pleasant and unexpected surprise. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on September 4th, 2009.
Wow. You almost missed it entirely. If the doors had opened and closed sooner, the train would have been gone long before the OCS cars came through.
