Pokémon Crystal (GBC) - No Evolution Challenge Pt. 3: From Violet to Azalea

Neku and his pals Crock (Totodile) and Spearow (Spearow... I forgot to nickname it) are heading towards Azalea Town, having won their first badge in Violet. The trainer receives the Togepi egg from Elm's aide and then enters the Union Cave in order to catch his third Pokémon: Onix. After giving it a cool nickname and watching Togepi hatch, he messes with Team Rocket's plans at the Slowpoke Well and heades for the Azalea Gym.

If you're doing a No Evolution Challenge, you should love Generation II (and IV, for the same reason). Sure, the inclusion of babies like Pichu and Cleffa made some useful Pokémon unusable, but in exchange you'll receive two exceptional 'mons: Onix and Scyther, which have stats comparable with those of evolved Pokémon. I catch the Rock Snake Pokémon in this part, and I am planning to catch a Scyther at the Bug-Catching Contest. Am I going to do the right thing? Only time will tell us...
