Taylor 510 , year 2000. recorded with Fishman Rare Earth Blend (mix: magnet 45% and electret 55%), C1 Studio Project mic with TLAudio 5050 preamp, Zoom H2 (mixed with the stereo front mics and the stereo rear mics). Mixed with the all those mics.
I noticed the studio projects mic is way off, is that because it's not as good as the close mic? What mic and pre-amp would you recommend for a laptop on the cheap? Really excellent recording and playing by the way!
the C1 is far just because I wanted to have the sound of the room too and with the mix of the Fishman which is close, it seems a solution.
For the following question, if i had well understood, the fact that your computer is "good" or "not so good" does not matter, but the quality depands on a good soundcard device (and xlr inputs). The best should be a couple of mics in XY stereo. A friend uses a couple of SM81 with a couple of TLA5050.
wonderful playing , what strings are on the 510 ?

Great playing! The sound is excellent as well. I also really like the image quality and lighting. What camera did you use? Nice stuff all around!

Hi Jun127,
