S'not amplified. If have a true, finely crafted mandolin, it's notes will echo a loud, ringing, very characteristic to mandolin.

@alderaforall Sounds good. I've been thinking of working up some Knopfler stuff. One of my favorite songwriters and guitarists. Actually one I've been thinking of for National tenor guitar is Les Boys.
