Actually If my memory serves me right this was around 17 ft. or 56,000 cfs. This was a sick day at the dries. This video was shot around thanksgiving 2006, but the wave will come in at anytime of year as long as the head waters in NC or VA are getting pounded with rain or if we get alot of local rain. Hurricane season is best bet. Only runs a couple times a year You can surf anywhere from 10ft. up to around 20ft. Epic Day.

looks like +-9 ft usualy comes up in spring around april/may, i've seen it, it's a sick spot. just got back ftom wv on monday from gauley fest and paddlin the gauley.
