Oh, and vampires do NOT glisten in the sunlight. This goes against everything in vampire lore prior to this point, ever. Anywhere.
In fact, I'm actually convinced that this is Stephanie Meyer's sexual fantasy. A dashing young man with a piercing gaze and skin that can glisten like diamonds in the sunlight (who, according to vampire lore everywhere else, should be BURNING in said light).
