I feel like this woman deserves some attention for her kickass personality and just for being... well, so damn awesome. So she gets the (not-so-great) honour of being the first thing I vid for Sherlock series 2.
I had to put that little clip at the end because I have been totally re-sherlocked thanks to such an amazing first episode. It had everything - angst, humour, sadness, action, subtext, mrs hudson, molly... perfection.

Gotta say, I do ship Sherlock/John... But not in a sexual way. I just don't see Sherlock doing anyone. Which is why I like Irene, 'cause she kinda just takes him.

I can see Sherlock having sex with Irene. He seems very curious and intrigued when interacting with her, and willing to try who is more dominant in the end. Like two predators, really - and he could also prove Mycroft wrong.
Still, for a relationship, the two of them are way too similar to each other. THAT's why I ship John/Sherlock - because I think someone like him, with a big heart, dry humor and a minor addiction to adrenaline would be perfect to deal with that brilliant, annoying asshole :3
