Both the VXS and VXR do have reverse. Top speed is comparable to the FZ. Seats can be switched (although we haven't physically tried, it is the same deck...). Maybe you want to go with the VXS - both models are identical except for colours and seat style. Visit Yamaha-motor.ca for complete details.

I've been all Sea-doo and Jet-Ski for years but I am seriously considering one of these. The GPR was a good race boat and this is a takeoff of the old GP series. I used to run old Sea-doo XP's that were under 500 lbs and have been craving for the manufacturers to go on a weight loss program..... just like snowmobiles went on in recent years.

@YamahaCanada I am pretty sure that the VXS does not have a re-boarding step like the VXR, sorry to correct you YamahaCanada!

@YamahaCanada Sorry to correct the official Yamaha Canada on your own product but the VXS does also has another difference then just the colors and seats, the VXR has a re-boarding ladder. Great product though! Excited to purchase mine in about a month!

Recenlty i bought VXR & race with my mate's FZS.. they both same power & speed.

FZS about $6k more than VXR.

@YamahaCanada alright thanks for the information. sorry it took so long to get back, never got a message saying there was a reply. i thought about the FZR but its gonna cost to much. looks like theres gonna be a new VXS or VXR next summer.

why is it look like seadonts? how many horse power those monster has?

do both of these have reverse? what is the top speed on these, i have an 08 vx deluxe but its way to slow for me. can the VXS and the VXR seats be switched? i like the VXR but i dont like the seat on it. thanks.
