  • Why would a sax player want to switch to a clarinet, the sax is amazing and i would never want to switch

  • what is she munching from 0:00 to 0:02?? LOL

  • The two greatest jazz instruments. The sax exudes sexiness, the clarinet, intelligence. I'm just glad I play both.

  • 3:45 that's what she said

  • Go Clarinet!

  • That is soo not the clarinets embouchures

  • The hardest thing for me about clarinet is just knowing the names of the notes associated with the tone holes. Since it's built around 12 notes rather than 8, I don't know what notes go where, but that is easily remedied with the internets array of fingering charts.

  • @deardotzilla but even after the 2 1/2 octaves on a sax, you could just keep on voicing it up until you couldn't hear it anymore. Clarinet is harder to play due to the squeaks, but saxophone is way harder to be a professional / accomplished player.

  • you want to put as much clarinet mouthpiece in as possible or you get a bad tone

  • I like the sax embouchure better than the clarinet on

  • @Spectonimous yea but the sax honks more

  • @ShevardnadzeII

Learning to play sax, and learning how to not sound like ass on saxophone are two different things. The fingering system is the only easy thing about sax. xD

  • i'll put it straight in her mouth

  • Clairnets rocks

  • I play the flute and sax. When i switched to sax it was do DIFFERENT!! But Im first chair with meh sax

  • @ShevardnadzeII lol... clarinet is easier than sax to me... even when i was a beginner.(: the only thing hard on a clarinet is getting a good sound.

  • @Spectonimous they both squeak

  • @ShevardnadzeII yeah, for my jazz band a couple clarinet players had to cross over to sax. The biggest problem I saw in them was learning to have the neckstrap adjusted correctly. haha, other than that they're pretty good

  • @ShevardnadzeII ino im beginer too my friend let my play his sax its so easy

  • @Eliterule213 LMAO

  • Doesn't the clarinet squeak a lot more than a sax.

  • On the clarinet part... the pitch was too high on the mouth piece and barrel when the sax player played... her embouchure still wasn't right...

  • great advise! thank you very much!
