Summary day 7 & day 8 of TU Graz Racing's stay at SVSU
Today we finally completed one week of testing prior to the Formula SAE event and are now ready to begin our journey to the Michigan International Speedway, where the competition will be held. Once again we have summed up the last two days with a video, now available for you to watch. During the event we will give you more updates linked with short videos in addition to the news entries.
On Sunday we completed our final test drive and undertook a thorough technical check of the Tankia 2007. We then analyzed the gained data of the last week and edited it for the event.
The only technical problem we were bothered with, was a locked rental car which we were not able to open, allthough the engine was running.
But not only locked rentals, also the Formula SAE event costs a lot of effort. To be prepared for the event the team used the football training grounds of the SVSU to keep fit and harden their condition.
Last night the second group of the USA team arrived at the Detroit Metro Airport and joined the first group. Now a total of 17 members of the TU Graz Racing Team have arrived safely in the US and are now looking forward to a challenging and exciting event.
Today we will complete our last test drive, before leaving for the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn.
Keep your fingers crossed for the Formula SAE 2008 event!
Here you will find the video of the last two days.
