@citizenlizard Nah, those rumors are false. The beef had to do with Savage still wanting to wrestle rather than be on commentary as Vince wanted him to. Macho left to WCW because of that. Vince was extremely upset and felt betrayed by it as he looked at Macho as if he was a son of sorts (which was probably one of the factors that led to Vince's paranoia during the whole Montreal Screwjob thing). There's a video on here of Vince wishing Macho Man good luck and saying goodbye.
