It is absolutely appalling what happened to these victims. The woman here at the start said they are finally doing something about the reformatary schools but they no longer exist they are ''doing something'' about the abusers, not enough mind you but just setting the record straight that these schools haven't been in Ireland for years.

Wow, aren't governments so handy and convenient and useful? Yep, justice is served. Those vile evil monsters manipulating people for the cynical purpose of raping defenseless kids sure got what they deserved....nothing.

People people people, this is precisely one of the many reasons why governments are utterly useless. It's a giant scam. The only real justice is vigilante justice. Kill those priests. KILL THEM and put their heads on spikes.

Believe me I know it definetly happened but they say that they abuse and molest rather than abused and molested like its still going on someone in my family went to one of those schools thats why my familys not catholic I completely disagree with what the churches did and are still doing although in very isolated cases that are being covered up by the vatacan itself these days but these schools hav'nt existed for years in Ireland

@SkateFastRockHard It's still in living memory though, my granny's sister was in one and her life was fucked up because of it. Emotional, Physical e.g. surgery to correct damage from beatings etc. None anymore but ya have a point.. Still, right the wrongs and all that jazz.

Ireland's shame.. We are becoming more secular but still have Catholic ethos here, we're not secular yet.. Primary schools are still Catholic based- with Holy Communion and Confirmation almost being part of the curriculum, we have Blashphemy Law (lucky that hasn't really been implented though), we still have no services to allow Abortion be caried out dispite this being a violation of right under the EU Human Rights- the girls who ar raped have to go to the UK to get it done
