The prototype Bus for the new Mk2 MAN Buses in Melbourne. The only Mk1 MAN Bus with a Voith transmission and dual step / glass front doors. Ex MET Government Bus now sporting the National Bus / Ventura livery. Just about in it's last days of service.

  • Nice to see a video of my bus in service!

  • @mmtbbusnut

That was the last time I had a ride in my favourite Mk1. One of these days I hope to see your wonderful collection and maybe even get to have a steer if I'm lucky.

It will be great to see her and her sisters eventually restored back to there former glory.

  • It will be good when the bus will be repainted back in green and yellow the old Met livery.

  • Nice vid. Its rare you see these old buses in the National livery (red and yellow). I think i once saw some of these buses in storage at a tram depot near Brunswick i think it was. I was on Route 96 tram at the time last year. I could easily tell the livery belonged to National bus lines.
