That was the genuine Monkeemobile bought from the Barret-Jackson auction earlier this year. Was first of the two originals to be built. It was on display in front of Basha Diagnostics near 13 mile.

Thanks, The Monkeemobile was actually built by Dean Jefferies with his sidekick Dick Dean from a 1966 GTO. George Barris just bought it after the show was over after Dean Jefferies turned down buying it.
The Monkeemobile will be at the "Motor City Muscle Car & Bike Show" in Canton next weekend.

Thanks once again ... I'm sure I used to know that it was a Dean Jeffries car. But I'm getting old and my memory is shot. If fixed the video annotation to reflect this information.
