People who say weird things about UTS, i assume they haven't experience studying at UTS yet. I am proud to be a part of UTS, no matter what those people think^_^

At one stage there were going to be 7 tower buildings. Two where the fairfax building is, two to replace the Marcus Clark building and three on the block where it stands now. One was completed and a second one was started but never completed. I think they stoped work just after the foundations were excavated, it was where building two is now. The three buildings in the center block were going to be different heights, one 32 floors, one 27 and one 23 floors.

im studying at UTS this year.. its a fine uni, but compared to UOW where i studied last year the uni-life experience is only a fraction of that from wollongong.
nevertheless, UTS is still a fine uni regardless of the architectural designs..

In October 2006, the university's tower building was voted by 23% of the total vote in a poll hosted by Sydney Morning Herald as the ugliest building in Sydney! (The famous 'Tower' building is an example of brutalist architecture with square and block concrete designs.)
