This video is about BPPV (BENIGN PAROXYSMAL POSITIONAL VERTIGO). I lived with it for over 4 months and it was quite debilitating. I thought I had a tumor, pinched nerve or was going crazy. I hope this video provides you with the information needed to rid yourself of BPPV sooner, rather than later. I am not a doctor, and this video should not be considered medical advice. PLEAS SEE YOUR DOCTOR IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE BPPV.

  • Check YouTube video eOuzUi5ckrk - That's the one that helped me.

  • I used the claymation bppv video and other with the exact steps on what to do.

  • Without injury history and if I am dizzy when I bend my head backward on either side, how do I know which ear is the bad one?

  • Not sure, but all the you-tube videos should tell you that. Please search again for BPPV and check the videos by the more medically inclined then I.

  • Anyone know which video (or the poster of this very informative video) suggest any of the Epley Maneuvers that are on YouTube. I am new to vertigo/dizziness and I am trying a couple of them. Neither have been able to get rid of it, but, the room isn't spinning either. I had an MRI which was normal. That's as far as I've gone with it. Any thoughts would be great.

    Thanks!

  • Search for BPPV. The first video that pops up on the list titled: Dix-Hallpike and Epley Maneuvers for BPPV, in Claymation is good. Also the dizzyfix hat helps you do the maneuver properly. A neurologist in the 'know' could also preform this maneuver in an office visit.

  • I had 1 short mild bout many years ago in bed.last summer 1 hit really hard totally debilitating, couldn't function(at all) for hours, didn't resolve for days.Since,it lurks & harasses 24-7. No left side sleeping.Starts in head,to queasy belly, accompanied w/ instant extreme high anxiety resulting in near attacks, fully knowing what it is.Spinning? kind of,more like sudden loss of gravity floating in any position. A sensation experienced in a concussion once.

No way wil I intentionally trigger one.

  • I have had recurring BPPV for about ten years now. It hits me at random intervals -- sometimes I'll go a year or more without an incident. It usually lasts a day or two. I can't figure out what triggers it although intense "viewing" of a computer screen or TV screen for more than a couple of hours might be a trigger. Eply helps sometimes (though it makes me really sick), but also just resting (boring!) for a day will do it. It seems as though everyone has a slightly different experience.

  • ive had dizzyness for 2 years, it has ruined my life, im waiting on mri results, 4 nights ago it turn into the positional thing you describe, when ily down and turn my head right, the dizzyness is so very violent, i cannot possible stay in that position,,i dont know what to do, can you give me the link for the video ? i tried one but as i said it was to violent a reaction.

  • @curtis8516 Do the Epley Maneuver exercises. There are Youtube videos to show you how. It is so easy and can cure the problem quickly. Don't take those drugs! It's terrible that your doctor told you to take a drug for this.

  • @chodaboy51500 Only if you are lucky man..... thats what the doctor told me 1 year ago... i still have it.....

  • I had it for about 3 days. It can go away even without treatment apparently.
