@DoubleJAprentice Simple, bands unsigned are doing music as they want it and as they see it. Where as shit bands like the Fray and Nickleback are under a contract that says produce an album within 'x' amount of years and make 'x' amount of songs sound like this and 'x' sound like this. Eventually to the point where the only thing changing are the lyrics.
