From 'The Sound of Leamington Spa Volume 3'. The Deddingtons were 4 school chums who never played live, but did record some greater guitar based pop songs.

  • Exciting news. The Deddingtons are releasing soon on Cloudberry Records

  • Once again, this song is so freaking gorgeous! It's pure atmosphere of warm late august and freedom and something so celtic and pure british about this song (maybe kinda medieval flute)! Love it!

  • @imcgraw I Ian, the Leamington Spa thing is the working of a mercurial manager....can you email me a copy of the original artwork? We'd love to post some more tunes.

  • Class these guys were ahead of their time for sure. I am sure I remember a gig (or two). Wonder who records in 'The Loft' studios these days? Plus I am sure I have the original artwork images from the single too.

    What is the Leamington Spa connection though?

  • Hey, haven't heard this for a while: I was the bass player in The Deddingtons. Oddly, we were from Nottingham and nothing to do with Leamington Spa...happy times!

    The line up was:

    Vox: Chris King Now the kingpin in The Legendary Hearts;

    Lead Guitar: Matt Wright;

    Bass: Chris Morgan (went on to be bassist with Derby greats, Saltbox now recording as Reporters);

    Drums: Andy Luczko (ex of The Losers, playing currently with Happy Hour).
