Thats what i have been saying: Hitler used his idead because he misinterpreted them (specially the superman theme)!

But the Nazis quickly understood the meaning of Nietzche's ideologies and abandoned them right away - they didnt actually follow them all the way beacuse they didnt serve their purpouse.

no. it's because HITLER tried to make the association with nietzche. whether he actually understood him or not, he CLAIMED to be using nietzche's ideas. it's not about arbitrarily connecting 2 famous germans
