@oxalicman The C4 are blocks of plastic explosive, they're not cards; way back in the day I thought they were keycards, too.

actually, the C4 when combined with the detonators will allow you to blow up doors. the one thing about them that should never be done is use them on the floor with all the machinery (the 36th floor i think)
