  • @TravisCadello had mine going fro a bbq for 3 hours

  • @phomer1 sorry to hear that but mine has lasted me 5 years with a nice600 rms amp running everyday.

  • I put in a yellow top and my truck has never started so fast! Also my seriously upgraded audio system sounds better. A+

  • @TravisCadello optima battery doesn't have more amH than regular, but it gives more power when it have power and recharge more quickly than normal. For example if you have 75mAH battery, it can give 1A for 75 hours. But with optima in -30C starting car, it will give true force for starter to start up a car.

  • I bought Optima Yellow top at 1997, it was awesome! Lasted through car (Ice car) rolled over 5 times, survived from car hitting to tree, and after all that my alternator broked and short wired - all i did, just recharge it and i was ready to go!

But interesting point, at 1997 when u bought yellow top, there was big sign made in USA, red top what i bought 2010 said made in mexico.... are they saving money for quality nowdays?

  • 6-pack appearance, now that is a true blue Aussie review :) Just got a yellowtop and relocated it to the boot of my Soarer, will never go back, these are the shit

  • Duralast batteries are shit, I went throu 3 batteries in one year. I bought optima red top since 2002 and had no problem at all

  • Fuck optima i already went through three now i have to gold duralast batteries...optimas no good for sound systems after a while they dont hold a charge

  • i just got one today and will never get a reg battery agin i was working on my car for 4 hours with the radio cranked and still had enough power to start my car easy!
