I loved the American Dream. They had some great tunes - not all of which were on their one and only album. I do not think that there are any real characters like Nicky Indelicato around in rock'n'roll groups any more. How could anyone possibly not enjoy being in, or listening to, a group with crazy fun guys like him?
On a sadder note, I heard that the band's drummer Mickey Brooks had passed away. Anyone who is lucky enough to have heard the group's album will know how well he played.
