Pulls me back to the first time big beautiful black lips whispered in my ear: "B-A-B-Y"! HE WAS SO SWEET AND MADE ME WEAK ... OH, HOW I LOVED TO HEAR HIM CALL ME B-A-B-Y WHILE MAKING WRONG THINGS FEEL SOOOO RIGHT! I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT...
@IkeDyson71 I'm sure on LP it would be pretty hard to find, or maybe just expensive, but you can get this 45 for like $5 plus shipping on ebay at any given time.
This was the song that introduced me.... and turned me on to.... Soul Music. I was in the 9th grade. Within 2 years I was playing in a soul band. Stax/Volt: the absolute best!
What a gem of a Motown song (I only mean Motown as a genre, because it was obviously released by the legendary Stax Records of Memphis). It should have many more than 7,945 views. I had not ever heard this song until I heard it on a local public radio show which plays Blues, Motown, and Soul a couple of months ago. How sad...
I have it on vinyl on an old Atlantic album from 1968 called |"This Is Soul". 1968 - that's 42 years old. You would have to search for a very long time to find this on vinyl now...

The last time I had it on vinyl was on the Atlantic "This Is Soul" LP from 1968, which I bought in 1978. I have it crystal clear on MP3 already.
Give bellibulle1, above, the info!
