Tommy Jr. (the cat) and Jimmy (the green-cheeked conure) don't always see eye to eye, but they do relate to each other in their own ways.....
They are still friends; known each other since 2006 or so.
BTW - The original soundtrack to this video was "Why Can't We Be Friends" (back in '08), but YouTube stomped it & forced me to use one of their soundtracks. Just play the tune in your head while watching..... ;-}

  • NOTE TO ALL VIEWERS... it has been over 3 years since this was originally shot, and they're both still quite alive, still friends, still playing.

    (Hmmm... maybe I should do a "sequel" movie to show that....)

  • Beautiful cat.

  • @lasive - Thanks. Tommy's actually quite the calm cat, pretty cool with 'most everything. Doesn't create problems, and even toilet-trained .....yes, as in using a real toilet... search out "Tommy Jr. & Toilet" on YouTube.

  • Only if there was no music this video is so good.

  • @archisb - Yeah... I originally soundtracked "Why Can't We Be Friends" as the music to this (it worked well), but YouTube canned it and forced one of their own tunes onto it. @#$%#$%!!!!

  • @SuperOxideDimutase Well, he must be a slow cat. It's been over three years, and both the cat, and my other cat, and all three of my birds are still hale and healthy.

    Fact is, some cats are just smarter than other cats, and have learned what's allowed and what's not.

  • u could remove the song and youtube will give u money!

  • hi, just to let you know this isnt your bird playing with your cat, it is causing your bird a lot of stress, including the head bobbing, and the aggressive lurching forwards with beak open when the cat puts paw up, the pacing on the perch they are all signs of stress in your parrot, i know you cat probably wouldnt hurt your bird, but does expose your bird to so much stress to a natural predator :/

  • @ForeverEndeavours Yes, but without the music please? Thanks.
