If this is really over unity you should be able to construct it in a closed loop and put a magnet array on the outside mount to the rotor shaft and produce ac without cost. I also would say that using a non ferrous material in the rotor shaft would probably produce better results. Ferrous materials will become magnetized themselves which could potentially slow the rotor via magnetic slaving.

One of my free energy big heroes is J. Newman. Because he get it and he wants us all to get it! He is not a selfish man like so many free energy inventors. Go read his book - it's all in there, and he wants you to understand it! The secret of his succes is that he is thorough and don't take anything for granted. Remember to buy a big big coil with a small small dia. wire. And make the pulse so short that the electrons won't leave the other end of the coil.:-)
