SG's Pokémon Firered Walkthrough - Part 5 - The Pewter City Showdown!

This is going to be my first walkthrough ever made by me SG on Youtube. I can't wait to show the viewers this game, and please remember this is a walkthrough so I will be doing my best to get through the game as quickly as possible.

Sorry I didn't get to show the Trainer battle from the Gym, for some reason I must of got that part recorded, so I apologise for my mistake.

In this episode we finally get to take on Brock at the Pewter City Gym. As this game is much harder, this means that Brock and his team are much stronger. Brock has a Graveler at level 15 and a Steelix at level 18. In order to beat Brock, make sure that you have Squirtle at a reasonable level like level 14 for example with a strong move such as Bubble or Water gun as they will do the job. If you have Bulbarsaur/Ivysaur with Vine Whip that can also do the trick. If you started with Charmander then you may have a problem there, as Charmander doesn't have a move strong enough to beat Brock's Pokémon with one move. My advice would be to capture a Mankey and train that up to a suitable level so that Mankey can use Fighting type moves. Mankey can be found on Route 22 between levels 2-5.

I've noticed that the narration is a bit low I do believe this is because when I was recording the second part to the walkthrough the sound from the ROM was very loud. So eventually I'm going to fix that and make the narration a bit more fun in the future.

Please note, what you will see in the future of this walkthrough is a fan made ROM. What this actually means in a sense, that this game isn't your normal Firered version. This version is much stronger due to the Gym Leaders Pokémon are much stronger, and this is the same for the E4 and Champion.

In the next episode of the walkthrough we will be training our little buddy Pikachu to a better level. Also, we will continuing the game by going to Mt. Moon, but on the way there, they are some trainers we first must defeat to reach Mt. Moon.

Well @ coolpenguins if you read the description then you will know it's a harder version of the original Firered. Which means, that all of Gym Leaders Pokes are stronger/different. This also applies to the Elite 4 and champion.
