@PianoManTyler but its not a tuba but rather a sousaphone if I called a bass clarinet a clarinet it wouldn't be politically correct. But I understand where your coming from like a Eflat and Bflat Trumpet.

@PianoManTyler Actually, it's specialized helicon ordered by Sousa because he was unsatisfied by the helicons used in the military bands of the day and wanted a helicon that could sound like concert instruments of the day.

@Ender231 *John Philip Sousa invented the sousaphone...i agree. i hate when people call sousaphones tubas..we are different! :0

@PianoManTyler It's called a sousaphone. Regardless of what the people who aren't in the band call it (What makes you think I care what they call it?!), the inventor of the instrument called it a sousaphone. Your username reflects that you have SOME musical background in the piano, and pianists insist on calling them keyboards, vibraphones, harpsichords, and E-pianos, so what makes it okay for you to bash Sousaphones?

i hate it when ppl argue about whether its a tuba or a sousaphone, because yeah we get it its a damn sousaphone, but if ur in a band ur not gonna be like "oh hey look, its the sousaphones!" its a fucking waste just say tuba. its a tuba just in a different shape..
