Z is for Zambelli Fireworks

This is a clip from a one hour special called Pittsburgh A to Z. The special went through the alphabet and assigned a well know Pittsburgh Pennsylvania item with each letter of the alphabet. When they got to the letter Z it could only mean one thing in Pittsburgh.
You will see George Zambelli Sr. in this clip.Mr. Zambelli died December 25, 2003. Rest in Peace George.

I`ve noticed Dave Evans in a lot of your vids.

Dave works most of the larger computerized displays for Zambelli Fireworks. I was part of his crew for a few years. This is where I learned all the finer pyrotechnic techniques. Such as computerized displays, rainbow effects, barge, building displays, baseball , football games, firing in weather conditions rain, snow,wind,flash pots, pin boards, close proximity,special effects etc.I really enjoyed those years I worked with him part time, I learned a lot they were my best fireworks memory years.

It may be a while. We are all in the slow fireworks months. Jan to March.Every time I think I ran out of video ideas something comes along.
