I do jiujitsu and its not the goal to knock the other one out, the sporters have a lot of respect for eachother. And the standup and striking is not really hitting, i know it looks that way but its just touching to score points.

@Twaxxas UFC guys used to come to our gym and get tossed around all the time. They are just mixed martial artists. Just because they fight in a cage doesn't mean they are the best.

I consider Aikido and Jiu Jutsu like yin and yang, Aikido is ment for harmony and defense while Jiu Jutsu is very destructive. Both are very effective when you understand on of these arts.
