Electric Drumsets: bit bouncier materials, so yeah easier to play, but compact and quiet, so you dont piss off everyone in your neighbor hood.

Acoustic Drumsets: less bouncy, much better quality sound, you have to replace things often (heads) and they are LOUD

Whitechapel? great band to listen to. their drummer? nothing but a fast drummer, not even a good one. All Shall Perish? Awesome band and a very fast drummer, but really talented imo. Veil of Maya? Sucks. The Faceless? sucks. Playing Metallica is x50 harder than everything you've named, not by being fast, by skill. and you should atleast respect Metallica, without them, anything you named wouldnt even exist.
