I just got what I thought was a MAC 168. Until I compared it to images of the real one. I had been looking for something like it, and asked the seller if it was a good dupe, and the seller told me that it WAS real and not an imitation. So I got it, looked at it, and then looked at pictures online of the real one. And it's fake :(

  • Forget about the look. Are they scratchy, do they shed? What about the smell? Do they pick up the color? What about application?

  • @12quillemall5321 Haven't used it yet. Once I try it, I'll review it. Different vendors on eBay sell different fakes, so one fake may be MUCH better than another.

  • That sucks he lied! He cold have just said yes it is a good dupe. I hope it still works

  • @GlitterfulSummer It's possible that he didn't know it was fake. A lot of sellers get great deals on brushes in bulk and don't know that they're selling fakes.

  • I recently just bought a brush set off ioffer (similar to eBay), I was so stoked I only payed about $20 for 8 brushes. My contour brush looks completely fake! I am so disappointed. Because that was the brush I was most looking forward to! It didn't help that this was my first time buying something off line! Hopefully they do the same job!
