Bay Buchanan: It's Just Feminists That Aren't Excited About Palin

Bay Buchanan on CNN commenting on the choice of Sarah Palin for VP. She punts on Romney and makes these comments during the conversation:

What do you mean it's an insult to women? To choose a woman is an insult to women? I'll tell you where that's coming from. That's coming from feminists. This is going to be our little side entertainment for this campaign as you see feminists melting and just collapsing in their trying to effort to explain why they're not excited about a woman actually making history. That's the second strength of this decision Don. It's, we now not only have an energized party that can match the energized Democratic Party which it clearly is. We now are making history just like they are. And people, women across the country are going to be excited. Maybe not the few feminists that you bring on to talk about it but we are thrilled to death to be able to break that barrier and see a woman out there.

Does she honestly think that women who supported Hillary Clinton are going to vote for this gal just because she's a woman and that there will just be a few "feminist" nay sayers out there who don't? GOP talking points trotted out right off the bat. I'm wondering how many times the talking heads are going to be yapping about feminists over the next few weeks now? She also of course dismisses her corruption probe as just dirty Alaskan politicians trying to get even with her. Alaskan politicians are all dirty but I think there's a bit more to it than that. Time will tell as the investigation goes on. And does anyone really believe Buchanan and the Romney camp aren't privately miffed about this pick?
