  • It's not only a serious problem in Amsterdam, in other Dutch cities as well. Forced prostitution and sextrafficking has increased since legalization 10 years ago. The deputy mayor is called Lodewijk Asscher. There are new laws on the table, eg punishing a buyer of forced/sextrafficked prostitutes. But how are you gonna even regulate that?. The now former mayor of Amsterdam Job Cohen has stated that he believes prostitution cant be regulated. I hope we can go to the Nordic/Swedish model.
