Semmy Schilt is incredibly under rated, he has fabulous technique and fluency for such a big man. I don't think I have seen anyone use their size and reach as intelligently and brutally. Even more amazing, in MMA he was actually comfortable on the ground and won several times by submission. Far from the one dimensional "really tall striker who only wins because he's so big" some people see him. Schilt is one of the all time greats in my book. So is Peter Aerts for beating him.

Ok great But How many turned from Kickboxing in K-1 to MMA And BTW I dunno about now but K-1 used to had an MMA Division!Pj Penn Fought,Duane Ludwig, Lyoto Machida and Renzo Gracie under the K-1 Banner under MMA Rules!And most likely Semmy turned to Kickboxing coz he was a mediocre MMA fighter 22-13-2 but his stand up was much better than his grappling s figured he's better chance in a Stand Up Combat Sport He was right he's 43-6-1
