I'm picking up that Joe's got a bit of psychic in him, which probably wouldn't work well for me. The second I approached the bar, Joe would likely tell me I need a bath and no, he won't sell me any damn weed. xD

@LazyMan9000 I guess you could argue that Origin wanted to hint psychic talent in Joe but i got my doubts because there's no other reference to such abilities in the rest of the game. I always thought the Privateer 2 setting to be mostly populated by degenerates which makes "normal" people superior by virtue of not having mental deficiencies ^^

I think Joe's demeanor is just his way of sizing up strangers ;)

@b5kalad @b5kalad Hi! I personally like Amazon and they list some sellers for 20 dollars (in the US). I use DosBox to play the game. You can download this great emulator for free at dosbox.com. While DosBox runs most DOS games nicely with the default settings i had to tweak the configuration file considerably to make the game run smoothly. You will most likely need to increase the emulated CPU cycles.

That atmosphere was so frightening for me when I was young.. It is excellent!
