No! The Sons of god were not angels! Yes, later they were used to refer to them 4 1 reason, & that was to hide the fact that god had not only sons, but a consort!

Thanks to the Ugaritic Texts, we now understand the OT texts referring to the Supreme god El & his 70 sons!

Why would the angels be referred to as the sons of god, when god had sons?? The Elohim referred to the "Sons of god," or the "Divine Council."

The reason 4 the obscurity? To hide the fact that early Judaism was polytheistic!

According to the Abrahamic god, we are not his sons. He had sons, divine sons (Elohim). In fact, he had 70 sons, whom he, the supreme god allotted the nations of man. He divided the world into 70 nations, one 4 each of his sons to oversee and control. Yahweh got Jacob (Israel), hence, Yahweh's comment; "these are my chosen ones."

All of this is in the OT. You just have to study it

Why do u think there were all of these religious paintings from 1100s thru the 1700s, showing flying vehicles overseeing the crucifixion & the baptism of Christ? They weren't demons or spirits, but the sons of god, watching from above in advanced technology!

This stuff about demons shape shifting to look like UFOs is ludicrous!

When the Sons of god took human woman and mated with them, how do u think they were able to have children?? Same dna!! Not magic or monsters

@forlatagate Are there any other accounts in the Bible or book of Enoch that indicate the sons of God coming to earth after the flood? It seems that the offspring of these "watchers" is what God was trying to eliminate with the flood.
